Junior Gen AI Engineer

We are seeking a Jr. AI Engineer with experience in developing AI-powered applications and enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background, hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, and exposure to cloud-based application development. Previous experience working within the Healthcare domain is highly preferred.

Required Experience

• 3 to 5 years of software engineering experience.
• 1 to 2+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, or RAG-based applications.
• Experience working in the Healthcare, Health Insurance, Pharmacy, Clinical, or Healthcare Technology domain.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI platforms.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or related AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and Vector Databases.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• AI Chatbot and Copilot development.
• AI Agents and intelligent automation solutions.
• Vector databases such as Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, or FAISS.
• Healthcare data integration and workflow automation.
• Cloud deployment and production support experience.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and vulnerability management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support AI-powered applications and intelligent automation solutions.
• Build and maintain APIs, reusable frameworks, and AI services.
• Implement LLM, RAG, and AI Agent-based solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to deliver scalable AI applications.
• Participate in code reviews, security assessments, and technical design discussions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support AI platform operations.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to AI governance, security, and compliance initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• Relevant AI, Cloud, or Security certifications are a plus.
