Technical Product Manager contract to Hire

Vega is staffing a Technical Product Manager position for our direct client. Candidates should reside within a commutable distance to Reston, VA. Candidates will be required to travel to client site once a month.

The Technical Product Manager will develop and Implements strategy for the company's product line and will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision. Collaborating with Product Owners, IT, and other stakeholders to prioritize product and customer requirements against the business strategy, product roadmap, and value drivers. The selected candidate will partner closely with engineering to ensure the delivery of winning products.

Job requirement:

• 10 years of Product development, Product Ownership experience.
• Ai Product Delivery experience and background in managing complex portfolios
• Must have strong expertise in Backlog planning, roadmap creation, JIRA management, and establishing Kanban/sprint cadences.
• Must have a strong back ground in inter-facing with internal product teams
• Must have In-depth knowledge of AI (e.g., chatbots, agentic AI frameworks) is crucial
• Experience with AWS tech stack is preferred
• Must have executed AI strategy or vision across a portfolio of products
