Job Description

Senior DevSecOps Engineer | Security, Automation & CI/CD

A major global financial organisationare improving their technology estate for a critical systems and are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with a strong focus on security, automation and software delivery. The role will involve embedding security practices across the DevOps lifecycle, supporting CI/CD platforms and implementing solutions for identity, access, secrets and certificate management. The successful candidate will have experience working with enterprise security controls and DevSecOps practices, alongside strong technical capability across automation and CI/CD tooling.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • 8+ years experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform, Systems or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with security technologies and practices, including IAM, PAM, vulnerability/scanning solutions and security controls.
  • Practical experience with HashiCorp Vault or equivalent enterprise secrets management technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of certificates, keys and secrets management within enterprise environments.
  • Significant CI/CD experience, including designing, supporting and troubleshooting pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle, including integrating security controls into automated processes.
  • Strong scripting, automation, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across infrastructure, security and engineering teams.

This is a £475-525/day PAYE role (Cf £625/day umbrella). Initially for six months but extendible. Based London with hybrid working.
