Join a dynamic team as a Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineer in a hybrid role. This contract position focuses on enhancing security measures through micro-segmentation within a major enterprise environment. The role requires expertise in network security concepts, traffic analysis, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience with micro-segmentation platforms and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze application and infrastructure traffic flows.
• Design, document, and implement micro-segmentation policies.
• Develop and refine enforcement rules in accordance with standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and security engineers to understand communication requirements.
• Support migration activities, including remediation and replacement of legacy or overly permissive rules.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of network communications, application dependencies, and stateful firewall behavior.
• Experience writing and implementing network security policy rules.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration and documentation skills.
• Experience working within large enterprise environments.
