AWS Cloud Engineer

Introduction:

As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions for our organization. You will work closely with our DevOps team to streamline our development processes and ensure seamless deployment of applications in the cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Terraform and CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Design and develop automation scripts for operational tasks using Python and Bash scripting.
• Implement security controls, monitor security threats, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerization and orchestration of applications.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance using tools like Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerization and orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Good knowledge of AWS security services, IAM, and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Certifications in AWS or other cloud-related technologies.
• Experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
