Azure Cloud AI Engineer - Azure OpenAI, TypeScript/Python & CDKTF

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud AI Engineer with hands-on expertise in Azure AI services, cloud infrastructure automation, and infrastructure as code. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in TypeScript and/or Python, experience with CDK for Terraform (CDKTF), and knowledge of Azure AI, data, and core cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage Azure infrastructure using CDKTF and Terraform.

• Develop and integrate AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning.

• Implement and maintain Azure data solutions using Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Configure and manage Azure core services, including Virtual Networks, Storage, App Services, Key Vault, and application configuration.

• Develop infrastructure-as-code components and automation using TypeScript and Python.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

• Containerize applications and deployment components using Docker.

• Collaborate with cloud, AI, data, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable and secure Azure solutions.

Required Technical Skills

• Azure AI Services: Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning.

• Infrastructure as Code: CDKTF and Terraform, preferably for Azure infrastructure.

• Programming: TypeScript and/or Python.

• Azure Data Services:

  • Azure Cosmos DB (SQL API and MongoDB API)

  • Azure Data Factory (pipelines, data flows, integration runtime)

  • Azure SQL Managed Instance and Azure SQL Database

  • Azure Synapse Analytics

• Azure Core Services: Virtual Network (VNet), Storage, App Services, Key Vault, and application configuration.

• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Docker.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI services with Azure-hosted applications and data platforms.

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and deployment best practices.

• Ability to collaborate across AI engineering, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
