Job Description

Job Title: EHR Business Analyst – Oracle Health/Cerner

Location: Richmond, VA – Hybrid

Duration: 12+ Months

Number of Positions: 5

 

Job Description

Our client is seeking mid-level EHR Business Analysts with strong Oracle Health/Cerner experience to support EHR implementation, enhancements, and ongoing operations.

The BA will work closely with clinical and business stakeholders, technical teams, and Oracle Health/Cerner teams to gather and document requirements, analyze clinical and business workflows, develop process flows and user stories, and support testing and implementation activities.

 Required Skills

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • Strong Healthcare EHR experience
  • Strong Oracle Health/Cerner experience is highly preferred and will be a key consideration
  • Experience with requirements gathering and workflow analysis
  • Experience developing process flows, business requirements, and user stories
  • Experience supporting UAT, testing, defect tracking, and resolution
  • Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
  • Agile/SDLC experience

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle Health/Cerner implementation or enhancement experience
  • SQL
  • HL7/FHIR
  • EHR data migration
  • Healthcare interoperability/integration experience
  • State government healthcare experience

Location Requirement

  • Hybrid position in Richmond, VA
  • Local Richmond, VA candidates are preferred
  • Non-local candidates are also welcome if they are willing to relocate to Richmond, VA, and work onsite as required
