Job Description
Role: UKG Systems Administrator
Location: Martinez, CA (3 days onsite/week)
Duration: 6+ months
Summary: The Client is seeking a collaborative UKG Systems Administrator to administer, support, and enhance its UKG workforce management and employee-service solutions. The environment includes UKG Pro Workforce Management, UKG Pro Absence, UKG Pro Leave, UKG Pro Advanced Scheduling, UKG Pro Clinical Scheduling Extensions, UKG Pro Workforce Management Analytics, UKG Pro Workforce Management Data Hub (Premium), UKG Bryte Assistive AI for Pro WFM, UKG Pro People Assist, and UKG Document Manager. This position supports a unionized, 24/7 healthcare environment. The administrator works closely with operational, payroll, human resources, clinical, and technical teams to promote accurate time and payroll outcomes, effective staffing and scheduling, reliable integrations, secure and accurate workforce data, and useful reporting.

Education: A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience—is preferred.

Requirements:
- UKG Pro Workforce Management experience: 3+ years of experience administering or supporting UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of timekeeping, absence and leave management, attendance policies, pay and work rules, accruals, Hyperfind queries, and configuration building blocks.
- Healthcare scheduling knowledge: Experience supporting healthcare or another 24/7 operating environment. Experience with UKG Pro Advanced Scheduling and UKG Pro Clinical Scheduling Extensions is preferred, particularly for staffing rules, self-scheduling, open shifts, float pools, and on-call rotations.
- Labor-rule configuration: Experience translating collective bargaining agreements and applicable labor requirements into system rules governing overtime, premiums, call-back pay, meal and rest periods, holidays, accruals, and seniority.
- Integrations and data management: Familiarity with UKG integration tools, including UKG Integration Hub, Workforce Integration Manager, APIs, file-based interfaces, and UKG Pro Workforce Management Data Hub. Relevant experience should include interface monitoring and troubleshooting, data-quality controls, security, and technical documentation.
- Reporting, support, and collaboration: Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management Analytics, UKG Bryte Assistive AI for Pro WFM, UKG Pro People Assist, or UKG Document Manager is desirable. The successful candidate will also be comfortable coordinating testing and upgrades, resolving issues, improving reports and workflows, documenting system changes, and training users.
Education: A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience—is preferred.
