Location: Hybrid Onsite Dallas TX, Jersey city NJ and Tampa FL

Duration: Long-term

Responsibilities:

• Define the enterprise API strategy, architecture, and governance framework.
• Design scalable, secure, and highly available API solutions using Apigee X, Apigee Hybrid, or Apigee Edge.
• Architect API gateway solutions for enterprise applications and microservices.
• Design API lifecycle management, versioning, developer portals, and API governance standards.
• Lead enterprise API modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Design RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Implement API security using:
• OAuth 2.0
• OpenID Connect
• JWT
• Mutual TLS (mTLS)
• API Keys
• SAML
• Define reusable shared flows, policies, proxies, and security standards.
• Design high-availability, disaster recovery, and scalable API architectures.
• Integrate Apigee with backend applications, cloud services, and third-party systems.
• Architect hybrid and multi-cloud API management solutions.
• Lead API performance tuning, caching strategies, throttling, rate limiting, and traffic management.
• Establish API governance, standards, best practices, and security compliance.
• Review technical designs, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor development teams.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, cloud architects, security teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD automation for API deployments.
