Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Product Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill, product data management, engineering change processes, and cross-functional business analysis.

This role will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, IT, and other business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective Windchill solutions and ensure the integrity, usability, and scalability of product data and PLM processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert and primary business analyst for PTC Windchill PLM capabilities and processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional requirements, system configurations, workflows, and process improvements.
• Support Windchill modules and functionality related to:
• Product Data Management (PDM)
• Parts and BOM management
• Document management
• Change management
• Engineering Change Requests/Orders
• Product configuration
• Lifecycle and workflow management
• CAD data management and integration
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Configure and maintain Windchill workflows, lifecycles, attributes, roles, teams, and business rules as appropriate.
• Develop process documentation, functional specifications, user stories, test cases, and training materials.
• Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production releases.
• Support data migration, cleansing, validation, and ongoing product-data governance activities.
• Investigate and resolve Windchill-related functional and data issues.
• Collaborate with IT and technical teams on integrations between Windchill and enterprise applications such as ERP, CAD, and other engineering systems.
• Monitor system performance, data quality, and process compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide end-user training, support, and guidance on Windchill functionality and PLM best practices.
• Participate in Windchill upgrades, enhancements, deployments, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of PTC Windchill capabilities and emerging PLM best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience working with PTC Windchill in a business analyst, functional analyst, PLM analyst, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of PLM and product development processes.
• Hands-on experience with Windchill Product Data Management, Change Management, Document Management, and Workflow/Lifecycle Management.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional solutions.
• Experience developing test plans, test cases, and supporting UAT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in cross-functional, enterprise-level environments.
