Job Title : Senior Oracle APEX Developer/SME

Location : Washington, D.C  

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s Degree in Computer science, or a related field, with minimum 12+ Years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in developing enterprise applications using Oracle APEX (20.x/21.x/22.x/23.x or later).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, administration fundamentals, and database objects.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for publishing and consuming RESTful services.
• Proficiency in integrating REST APIs, JSON, and third-party web services with Oracle APEX applications.
• Strong front-end development skills using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and responsive web design principles.
• Knowledge of migrating legacy Oracle Forms and Reports applications to Oracle APEX is an added advantage.
• Experience implementing authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), and application security best practices.
• Strong understanding of SQL query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plans, and overall database performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems for source code management and collaboration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
