Pay Range: $60.00hr - $65.00hr

Job Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced FIX Developer to design, develop, and support FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol-based trading applications and integrations. The successful candidate should have strong experience in electronic trading systems, FIX connectivity, and capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain FIX protocol integrations with clients, brokers, and exchanges.
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot FIX sessions.
• Analyze business requirements and implement trading system enhancements.
• Monitor and resolve production issues related to FIX connectivity.
• Work closely with traders, business analysts, and support teams.
• Perform unit testing and support deployment activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with FIX Protocol (4.2/4.4/5.0).
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with electronic trading platforms and capital markets.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and messaging systems.
• SQL and database management experience.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with FIX engines such as QuickFIX/J or QuickFIX.
• Knowledge of Equities, FX, Fixed Income, or Derivatives trading.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
