Software Engineer, C++ Systems

About the Role

Join a systems engineering team building the core C++ software behind GPU virtualization for AI and machine learning workloads. You will help improve GPU utilization and scale a cloud infrastructure platform through low-level systems development and performance work.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain a C++ GPU virtualization library.

• Research GPU oversubscription, checkpointing, and high-performance GPU systems.

• Support new hardware architectures and understand how changes affect the broader system.

• Debug production systems and diagnose performance issues across customer workloads.

• Trace performance problems across system layers and deliver optimized code to production.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in C++ systems engineering, with deep C++ expertise; Rust experience is also relevant.

• Production experience with low-level systems such as operating systems, kernels, memory management, drivers, or networking.

• Experience optimizing network interface or C++ performance and tracing issues across the stack.

• A record of shipping production software beyond academic research, ideally in an early-stage startup environment.

• Strong computer science fundamentals and a degree in computer science or a related field.

• Experience with compilers, networking protocols, Kubernetes, infrastructure, distributed systems, storage, or data ingestion is valuable.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $250,000 to $325,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
