Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

·        Analyze business and functional requirements related to grants management processes and systems.

·        Work with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, clarify, document, and validate requirements.

·        Translate business processes and system functionality into clear training materials, user guides, and supporting documentation.

·        Develop and deliver training for end users and stakeholders on grants-management processes and system functionality.

·        Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, knowledge-transfer sessions, and other training activities.

·        Document current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, requirements, and functional specifications.

·        Support user acceptance testing by helping define scenarios, validating expected results, and coordinating business feedback.

·        Identify process gaps, issues, and opportunities for improvement and communicate recommendations to project stakeholders.

·        Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure that system solutions align with documented business requirements.

·        Maintain requirements, training materials, process documentation, and other project artifacts throughout the implementation lifecycle.

·        Provide subject-matter guidance on grants-management workflows and support users during system adoption and transition.

Required Qualifications

·        Experience working as a Business Analyst in enterprise or public-sector environments.

·        Demonstrated experience with grants management business processes and/or grants-management systems.

·        Strong requirements elicitation, business-process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

·        Experience creating training materials, user guides, job aids, and process documentation.

·        Experience delivering instructor-led, virtual, or hands-on application training.

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·        Ability to work effectively with business users, SMEs, project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders.

·        Experience supporting testing, UAT, implementation, or system rollout activities.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience with government or public-sector grants programs.

·        Experience supporting system implementation, modernization, or transformation initiatives.

·        Experience developing process maps, workflow diagrams, and detailed functional documentation.

·        Experience supporting change management, knowledge transfer, and user adoption.

· PMP training and Business Analyst certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
