LOCATION: Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico, VA, near the FBI Academy (100% onsite)

MINIMUM CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Top-Secret Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information and systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff on security-related issues.
• Stay current with emerging security threats and trends, and recommend improvements to security measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on system and network security.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploits, and best practices for mitigating risks.
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or SANS SEC540.
• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Experience working with government agencies or contractors.
