Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation & Controls / PLC Engineer with strong hands-on Ignition SCADA and commissioning experience to support a large-scale Datacenter automation project in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

The role focuses primarily on onsite commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, PLC/SCADA integration, and validation. Additional Ignition configuration and application development experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform onsite SCADA and automation commissioning.
• Support startup, testing, troubleshooting, and system validation.
• Configure and troubleshoot Ignition SCADA applications.
• Integrate PLCs with SCADA systems and troubleshoot communication issues.
• Support field commissioning and go-live activities.
• Coordinate with controls engineers, project teams, and field technicians.
• Perform minor SCADA development and configuration as required.
• Ensure automation systems meet project specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve onsite controls and SCADA issues.

Required Skills

• Experience with Ignition SCADA Platform.
• Ignition Core Certification – Mandatory.
• Strong SCADA commissioning experience.
• PLC/SCADA integration.
• Industrial automation and controls experience.
• Startup and field commissioning.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in an onsite industrial environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ignition Gold Certification – Preferred.
• Datacenter automation/commissioning experience is highly preferred.
