Electrical-Mechanical Designer - Cable Harness

What You ll Do:

The Electrical-Mechanical Designer position is responsible for modeling and drawing generation of a wide range of mechanical hardware and components designed for use in elevator systems and Creo Cable and E3 Zuken WD.

Responsibilities:

• Provide design support to internal and external customers
• Modify and develop new component solutions to increase product robustness
• Support resolution of engineering issues
• Develop component and system level models and drawings
• Support cost reduction efforts
• Support FTB reduction
• Support Engineers with 3D studies and prototyping
• Support engineering CN process
• Support to system level model updates

Required Qualifications:

• Must have experience with Creo and needs to be an expert on pro-cable and/or E3 zuken.
• Experience with Creo 10 or higher
• Proficient in Pro Cable
• Programming experience using NotePad
• Component, Assembly, Subsystem, and System Modeling
• Use of advanced mathematics techniques for part fitment and design feasibility
• Experience with defining welding, GD&T, Tolerancing, material specifications and finishes within drawings and models
• Parametric Design and programming
• Collaboration with Engineers and internal customers
• Live Absolutes & foster Inclusion & engagement.
• Works at pace with multi deliverables.
• E3 Zuken Wiring Diagrams
• Work independently with minimal oversite and still deliver to target
• Collaborate efficiently with engineers
• Effectively interpret engineering markups to convey design intent into 3D models and drawings
• Quick, Clear, Kind communication
• Good interpersonal Skills
