Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Program Manager to lead and manage complex technology and business transformation programs for a leading insurance organization. The ideal candidate will have strong insurance domain expertise, excellent program management capabilities, and experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs within the insurance domain.
• Manage program roadmaps, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate across business, technology, product, operations, and vendor teams.
• Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders to drive program priorities and strategic objectives.
• Manage multiple projects and workstreams while ensuring alignment with overall program goals.
• Identify risks and delivery challenges and proactively drive mitigation and resolution.
• Provide executive-level program reporting, status updates, and governance.
• Drive stakeholder alignment across geographically distributed teams and third-party partners.
• Support transformation, modernization, and technology implementation initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Program/Project Management, preferably managing large enterprise programs.
• Strong experience in the Insurance industry; Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of insurance business processes such as Policy, Claims, Billing, Underwriting, and Customer/Agent operations.
• Proven experience managing large, complex, cross-functional technology programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Strong experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors, teams, dependencies, and competing priorities.
• PMP, SAFe, Scrum, or similar certifications are a plus.
• Must be able to travel/commute to Erie, Pennsylvania, 2–3 days per week.

Preferred Candidate Locations: Buffalo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or surrounding areas with reasonable accessibility to Erie, PA.
