Mechanical Design Lead

Position: Mechanical Design Lead

Location:   Allentown, PA

Must have : Machine design, Sheet metal enclosure design, Mechanical Engineer, SEMI Equipment

Job Summary:

• Experience in NPD (New product design) - Concept Creation, Detail Design, Modeling & Drawing using CAD tool (Autodesk Inventor & SolidEdge). 
• Working Experience in Semi products. Process equipment tools experience is added advantage.
• Experience in handling large assemblies. 
• Knowledge of Manufacturing process (Machined and Sheetmetal components). 
• Knowledge of GD&T. 
• Knowledge of PDM/PLM tools and Bill of Materials. 
• Solution mindset. 
• Giving solutions to new concept design. 
• BOM preparation, manufacturing drawings & drawing standard knowledge. 
• Procuring new parts. 
• Should be able to attend client meetings. 
• Excellent in communication, presentation and writing skills. 
• Knowledge in preparing Procedure & Operation method sheets of assembly procedure.
• Knowledge in Semiconductor domain will be an added advantage. 
• Need to co-ordinate with Offshore team to explain the tasks and provide required information.

Tool Requirements: 

• CAD Tools: Autodesk Inventor (Working experience, SolidEdge, & AutoCAD. 
• PLM/PDM Tools: Enovia, Windchill. 
• Microsoft Tools: Knowledge in Visio, Publisher, and other MS Office tools.
