Senior Data Engineer

 Location: North Carolina (Hybrid – Weekly Onsite Required)

Key Responsibilities

 Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows for enterprise data pipelines.
 Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle.
 Manage data movement from file transfer services to Amazon S3 and Snowflake.
 Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement long-term solutions.
 Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and BI teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
 Resolve data quality issues and improve ingestion processes.
 Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
 Support Agile development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a strong focus on ETL and Data Quality Assurance.
 Expert-level experience with Python, PyPI, and SQL.
 Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise data pipelines.
 Solid understanding of Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.
 Knowledge of Amazon S3 and modern data integration practices.
 Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles related to application development, DevOps, and data access.
 Understanding of public cloud technologies.
 Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
 Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
 Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

 Experience with enterprise data governance and data quality initiatives.
 Experience supporting business intelligence and reporting platforms.
 Knowledge of cloud-based ETL frameworks and modern data architectures.

Important Notes

 Weekly onsite presence in North Carolina is required (schedule to be determined with the hiring manager).
 Candidates should be available for the full duration of the assignment.
