Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Data Engineer / Data & AI Engineer to build scalable data pipelines, data models, and AI-ready data solutions supporting healthcare payer operations.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Build data models and data products supporting healthcare payer operations.
Integrate data from multiple sources including claims, providers, members, pharmacy, and authorization systems.
Develop data processing and transformation solutions using Python and SQL.
Perform data quality, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
Prepare healthcare data for AI/ML and Generative AI applications.
Support development of AI-ready datasets, features, and data pipelines.
Work with data scientists and AI engineers to operationalize ML/AI solutions.
Develop and integrate APIs and data services.
Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Work with business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support production deployments and resolve data-related issues.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data & AI Engineering.
Strong SQL skills.
Strong Python programming experience.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines.
Experience with data modeling and database technologies.
Experience working with large-scale datasets.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with data integration and REST APIs.
Understanding of data quality, governance, and validation.
Exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
