Saratoga Horseworks is looking for an Expeditor to join their team!

Position Summary:

Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments to support the production schedule.

Responsibilities include reviewing and distributing production and work schedules; working with department Supervisors to track progress and confirm completion dates; competing reports on work status, inventory levels, costs, and production issues; and overseeing inventory accuracy along with the receiving of materials from both internal and external sources.

Computer skills, strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multi task.

Knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Epicor is a plus.

Professional demeanor and strong internal customer service skills.

Critical thinking skills.

Experience with physical inventory and/or cycle counting.

Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Spanish language skills are a plus.

Equipment, Machines, and Software Used:

Will be expected to use a computer (email and ERP system), cutting machine, grommet punch, and other production equipment as needed.

Requires close mental and visual attention to inspect incoming materials and in-process products.

Must be able to work on a computer, enter and maintain data in the ERP system, and ensure production lines receive accurate materials.

The work is physically demanding. Must be able to reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, use fingers, feet, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.

Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 25 pounds continuously to move materials and products. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment where there is heat and protection from adverse weather conditions.

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree or Higher Preferred

Day Shift Available: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay Rate Range: $23.00 - $26.00 Depending on Experience
