Senior Fund Accountant - Investment Management

BNY is seeking a Senior Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting to oversee complex fund and client accounting for global asset managers. You will review and validate NAV calculations, corporate actions, income accruals, and pricing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP/IFRS and regulatory standards. Partner with operations, technology, and client teams to resolve breaks, improve controls, and enhance reporting. You will mentor junior staff, support audits, and contribute to process automation initiatives while working in a collaborative, inclusive culture focused on innovation and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and monthly fund and client accounting activities, including NAV calculations and financial controls.
• Review pricing, income accruals, corporate actions, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and review financial and regulatory reports for funds and clients under GAAP/IFRS.
• Collaborate with operations, technology, and client teams to resolve breaks and improve accounting processes.
• Support internal and external audits with timely, accurate documentation and analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and control enhancements.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
• Partner with client service teams to address complex client inquiries and reporting needs.
