Power BI Developer with Security Clearance

Power BI Developer Remote Blu Omega is seeking a Power BI Developer to support the CDC Engage program. This role is responsible for designing, building, and elevating data visualization and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The successful candidate will partner with clients and cross-functional teams to transform complex data challenges into intuitive, secure, and scalable analytics solutions that drive real-world impact. Program Overview The CDC Engage program supports public health data modernization efforts aimed at improving federal public health programs and data management.

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that transform complex data into actionable insights for mission-critical federal programs
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into scalable, user-friendly analytics solutions
• Optimize data models using Power Query, DAX, and SQL to ensure performance, accuracy, and seamless integration with enterprise data sources including Dataverse, SharePoint, and Azure services
• Maintain and enhance existing Power BI solutions by implementing best practices, conducting peer reviews, and staying current with emerging Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies and methodologies Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
• 3+ years of experience with low-code development using Microsoft Power Platform tools
• 3+ years of experience migrating and modernizing legacy reporting applications into Power BI solutions
• Experience using SQL Server, Jira, or Visual Studio in Agile environments
• Experience with Dataverse design, data modeling, and data security
• Knowledge of Power Platform architecture, governance, and best practices
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelors degree Compensation Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance. Blu Omega Benefits & Perks
