Job Summary

We are seeking two Senior Power BI Developers with strong hands-on experience in Power BI, DAX, SQL, Databricks, and Databricks SQL. The candidates will design and develop enterprise reporting solutions, build scalable semantic models, develop complex KPIs, validate business requirements, and support testing, deployment, and production readiness.

2 Positions

Position1: Senior Power BI Developer / Technical Lead

• Strong Power BI architecture and semantic modeling.
• Advanced DAX and performance tuning.
• Databricks / Databricks SQL.
• Incremental refresh and RLS.
• Ability to own technical design and data modeling.

• Strong Power BI report and dashboard development.
• Complex DAX and KPI reconciliation.
• Data visualization and business reporting.
• UAT, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
• Build reporting solutions using Databricks and Databricks SQL Warehouse.
• Develop complex DAX measures, KPIs, rankings, and Top-N calculations.
• Design scalable star-schema and dimensional data models.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based data access.
• Manage Power BI Dev, Test, and Production workspaces and deployment lifecycle.
• Implement Import Mode, incremental refresh, and performance optimization.
• Validate KPIs and Power BI calculations against source data and approved business rules.
• Work with business SMEs to understand reporting requirements and KPI definitions.
• Perform peer reviews, cross-testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
• Support Production deployment, refresh validation, troubleshooting, and hypercare.
• Prepare technical documentation, KPI definitions, data dictionaries, and deployment/runbook documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Power BI experience.
• Advanced DAX development.
• Strong Power BI semantic modeling and star-schema design.
• Power Query / M.
• Power BI Service, Workspaces, and deployment lifecycle.
• Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Import Mode and Incremental Refresh.
• Power BI performance tuning and optimization.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Databricks SQL Warehouse.
• Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Strong data reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Databricks / AWS data platform experience.
• Microsoft Entra ID security groups and Power BI security.
• Azure DevOps experience.
• Healthcare analytics experience.
