Senior Developer (Power Platform)

Columbia - South Carolina

Healthcare client

  • 12-month contract (extensions based on budget, workload, and performance)
  • Location: Columbia, South Carolina (onsite 3 days/week)
    • Local to Columbia, SC is HIGHLY preferred - but open to reviewing non-local relocation candidates should we not be able to hire a local candidate.


Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree-in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.

Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree

Minimum Required Work Experience: 8 years-of application development, systems testing or other job related experience. (3-5 Years of Power Platform experience from a developer point of view.)

Team: Team delivers and supports the enterprise collaboration, communication, and productivity ecosystem. The team manages Microsoft 365, SharePoint, email security services, secure client technologies, and related digital workplace platforms, ensuring employees have secure and reliable access to the tools they need to collaborate, communicate, and innovate. Through governance, automation, security, and continuous improvement, the team drives employee productivity while reducing risk and operational complexity.

Required:
• Experience with Copilot Studio.
• Experience with AI Builder and Generative AI solutions.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Azure Data Lake.
• Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing application governance and security controls.
• Microsoft certifications such as:
• PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
• PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect
• PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst
• DP-600: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
• AZ-204: Azure Developer Associate

• Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
• Power Automate
• Dataverse

• Power Platform Administration
• Power Platform Pipelines

Day To Day: The Power Platform / Microsoft Fabric Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise solutions utilizing Microsoft's Power Platform and Fabric ecosystem. This role will partner with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and IT teams to deliver scalable automation, analytics, data integration, reporting, and AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and business decision-making.

The ideal candidate possesses strong development experience within Microsoft technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, Azure services, and Copilot technologies.
