Human Resources Advisor

Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HR Adviser to join their established HR team in Renfrewshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing a broad range of employee relations and generalist HR activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting managers across the business and providing practical, commercially focused HR advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence management and flexible working requests.

• Providing first-line HR advice and guidance to managers on policies, procedures and employment legislation.

• Supporting recruitment activities, including interviewing and onboarding.

• Assisting with policy reviews and ensuring HR documentation remains up to date and compliant.

• Supporting HR projects and initiatives across the business.

• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR reporting.

• Contributing to employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

• Building strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across the organisation.

About You

• Previous experience working in a HR Adviser or similar generalist HR role.

• Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage cases independently.

• Sound knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

• CIPD qualification or working towards qualification would be advantageous.

• A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role.
