AWS Architect

Position Summary

The AWS Architect designs and governs the cloud infrastructure for the platform on native AWS services. You will build a serverless-first, secure, and cost-effective foundation on AWS, define infrastructure standards, and ensure the platform meets FedRAMP and availability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design cloud infrastructure using native AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, Aurora, S3, ECS/EKS)

• Define infrastructure-as-code standards using AWS CDK/CloudFormation

• Architect for FedRAMP compliance

• Lead AWS Well-Architected reviews and cost-optimization efforts

• Design networking, security, and multi-environment strategies

• Support integration of Amazon Bedrock and agentic AI services

• Guide capacity planning, resilience, and disaster recovery

Required Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS architecture and delivery

• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience (CDK/CloudFormation)

• Experience with high-availability, high-volume systems

• U.S. work authorization and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• FedRAMP experience

• Serverless and event-driven architecture at scale

• Amazon Bedrock / agentic AI experience
