EICA Design Engineer

An established engineering business is seeking an experienced Senior EICA Engineer to join its growing team.

You will deliver high-quality Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation engineering solutions across turnkey and engineering projects, ensuring designs are safe, practical, cost-effective and compliant with relevant standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities Produce EICA designs, layouts, drawings, schedules and specifications.<br />Develop cost-effective solutions that can be successfully constructed and commissioned.<br />Produce EICA deliverables including load schedules, SLDs, BCDs and instrument indexes.<br />Provide technical input to tenders, estimates and project proposals.<br />Coordinate designs with internal and external engineering disciplines.<br />Work to engineering procedures, quality standards and health &amp; safety requirements.<br />Support continuous improvement and contribute to a positive, customer-focused culture.<br />Consider environmental and sustainability requirements within designs.<br />Travel regularly to project sites as required.

About You Essential Professional engineering membership.<br />HND/HNC or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.<br />Experience delivering EICA engineering designs and documentation.<br />Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br />Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly and confidently.<br />Good computer literacy.<br />Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience within the water/wastewater sector.<br />Working towards Chartered Engineer status.<br />Relevant Master's degree.<br />Only those with right to work in the UK should apply for this position
