ServiceNow AI Developer - InDev with Security Clearance

Job Type: Hybrid (2 days on-site preferred) Job Location: Ashburn, VA Categories: ServiceNow InDev is seeking a ServiceNow AI Developer with Now Assist, Virtual Agent, and Conversational AI experience to design, build, and optimize AI-powered solutions using the Now Platform. In this role, you will configure out-of-the box flows using Flow Designer and configure Virtual Agent and conversational AI experiences with core ServiceNow modules (ITSM, scoped applications). YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design & Configure: Build and customize (1) ITSM, CRM, and scoped applications leveraging workflows, Flow Designer, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and scripting; (2) Enhance ITSM, CRM, and scoped applications to include AI-powered use cases such as chat summarization, resolution note generation, knowledge article generation, response recommendations, and content generation.
• Workflow Integration: Integrate Virtual Agent and conversational AI with ServiceNow modules like IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Scripting & APIs: Extend functionality using JavaScript, Glide APIs, UI policies, and RESTful web services.
• Testing & Optimization: Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and manage update sets.
• Collaboration: Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate operational needs into responsive, user-friendly web and mobile solutions. QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow with dedicated experience with NOW Assist.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST/JSON integrations, and Flow Designer.
• Understanding of Access Control Lists (ACLs), data models, update sets, and client scripts.
• Experience with AI Search, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, LLMs, and Agentic AI.
• Experience with AI Agent Studio and GenAI platforms.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). NICE TO HAVES
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow AI Professional certification.
