RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client seeking a Product Owner/Crew Labor Management in Miami, FL.

Summary

We are seeking a Product Owner to support a Crew Labor Management product portfolio within a global enterprise technology organization. This role will partner with product management, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to deliver workforce management solutions supporting crew scheduling, time and attendance, labor compliance, payroll integrations, and workforce operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Agile professional with experience managing product backlogs, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and driving successful delivery of technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for workforce and labor management applications
  • Translate business objectives into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams for day-to-day delivery activities
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Partner with business teams to gather requirements, validate solutions, and manage delivery expectations
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business and functional requirements
  • Monitor sprint progress, release readiness, backlog health, and delivery metrics
  • Identify and proactively address risks, dependencies, and project blockers
  • Ensure solutions adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting Agile software development teams
  • Proven experience managing product backlogs and delivering requirements throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Experience supporting workforce management, scheduling, labor management, HR, or payroll-related systems
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into clear, actionable requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification or equivalent
  • Experience within the cruise, hospitality, travel, maritime, or transportation industries
  • Knowledge of labor compliance regulations, workforce scheduling, and payroll processes
  • Experience integrating workforce management applications with HR, payroll, or ERP platforms such as SAP or Workday
  • Experience working within large enterprise environments utilizing formal SDLC, change management, and governance processes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
