Electrical Test Engineer

Electrical Test Engineer Droitwich Permanent Up to £36,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Test Engineer to join a market-leading manufacturing company based in Droitwich.

This hands-on role offers the chance to work on complex electrical and control systems, playing a key part in ensuring high-quality equipment is thoroughly tested, commissioned, and ready for customer delivery.

Main Duties Electrical Test Engineer Carry out comprehensive testing and inspection of equipment within a manufacturing environment<br />Connect electrical, water, and mechanical systems to facilitate testing and commissioning activities<br />Perform fault finding and diagnostics, including live PLC troubleshooting and problem resolution<br />Utilise a range of test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analysers<br />Test and work safely with high-voltage electrical systems<br />Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve performance<br />Complete accurate testing documentation and quality records<br />Approve and sign off equipment prior to customer dispatch<br />The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Electrical Test Engineer HNC qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering<br />Strong knowledge of single and three-phase systems, along with high-power electrical circuits<br />Previous experience working with live electrical equipment<br />A solid understanding of analogue and digital electronics<br />Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings and schematics<br />Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment<br />A meticulous approach with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards<br />Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities<br />Mechanically minded with a practical, hands-on approach<br />Flexibility to undertake occasional international travel to meet the needs of the role<br />What we are able to offer:
