Hardware Design Engineer

This is a hands-on Hardware Design Engineer role where your designs dont sit on a shelf - theyre built, tested and relied on in high-pressure, real-world environments. What youll be getting stuck into as a Hardware Design Engineer

• Designing, reviewing and maintaining schematics for a wide range of electronic products
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware faults from returned units and production builds
• Supporting production teams with PCB redesigns, issue resolution and technical queries
• Testing products to ensure correct functionality, radio connectivity and compliance
• Contributing to new product development and future technology initiatives
• Providing technical support across departments when complex issues arise

What youll bring to the table as a Hardware Design Engineer

• Previous experience in electronics design, fault diagnosis and component-level repair
• Strong PCB design and layout capability, taking designs through to full assembly
• Mandatory experience using KiCAD, with exposure to legacy Altium conversions
• Confident use of test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators
• Experience working with issue tracking tools such as Jira and documentation systems
• Audio communications experience would be very advantageous.
