Senior Consultant – Market Data Operations Transformation

Role Summary
Leads the transformation of the client's market data access lifecycle — from current-state discovery through future-state design — and provides ongoing oversight of the delivery pod. Acts as the primary client-facing owner of the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops with client stakeholders to map current-state market data access processes (intake, provisioning, transfers, terminations)
• Design the target operating model, including controls, SLAs, and automation opportunities
• Own the deliverable: catalog, SLA framework, and baseline entitlement inventory
• Advise on vendor contract/licensing optimization (Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv, FactSet, S&P, etc.)
• Guide Calero/TRG Screen tool evaluation, implementation, and configuration decisions
• Provide governance and quality oversight across the offshore team's execution
• Present progress, risks, and recommendations to client leadership

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–15 years in market data operations, vendor management, or financial data governance
• Hands-on exposure to market data inventory/optimization tools (Calero, TRG Screen, or similar)
• Strong understanding of exchange data licensing (display vs. non-display, exchange declarations)
• Process redesign / operating model design experience, ideally in a consulting context
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience with JML (Joiner-Mover-Leaver) processes and IT entitlement/access governance is a plus
