Job Description
Position: Senior Category Manager Professional Services (Contract) Location: 2 days onsite (California-based candidates preferred) with occasional travel to Oakland, CA Duration: Approximately 12 months
Key Responsibilities: Develop category strategies for Professional Services, with a focus on Insurance, Risk Services, and Financial Services Analyze spend and identify strategic sourcing opportunities Partner with executive stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and RFP processes Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement
Required Qualifications: 10+ years of Strategic Sourcing or Category Management experience Experience managing Professional Services categories (Insurance, Risk Services, and Financial Services preferred) Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills Ability to influence executive stakeholders and work independently in a complex enterprise environment
