Senior z/OS Systems Programmer

We are looking for a Senior z/OS Systems Programmer with strong experience in IBM Mainframe environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in z/OS system programming, troubleshooting, software installation, customization, and infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, customize, test, implement, document, and support z/OS and ISV software products.
• Perform z/OS system programming, dump analysis, problem determination, debugging, and resolution.
• Work with JES2/JES3, MVS, SMP/E, SMF, USS, ISPF, TSO, JCL, and IBM utilities.
• Develop and support Assembler-based system modifications, MVS and JES exits.
• Support z/OS Unix System Services (USS) and WebSphere environments.
• Configure and analyze RACF profiles and follow enterprise security standards.
• Support mainframe hardware configuration, installation, and upgrades.
• Work with IBM and other software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Provide Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and support for z/OS environments.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, CPU, memory, storage, and network resources.
• Provide Level 1–3 technical support and participate in rotational 24x7 support, including weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of z/OS System Programming experience.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS internals and JES2/JES3.
• Experience with SMP/E, SMF, USS, MVS/JES exits, dump analysis, and problem resolution.
• Working knowledge of Assembler, REXX/CLIST, ISPF, TSO, JCL, and IBM utilities.
• Experience with RACF and mainframe security.
• Experience supporting Disaster Recovery in z/OS environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotational 24x7 support.
