Residential Service Plumber

$30–$35/hr + Performance Pay | $85K–$125K+ Annual Earning Potential | No Traditional On-Call

Howze Plumbing is a locally owned residential service and repair company serving Keller and the surrounding North Fort Worth area.

We're looking for an experienced Residential Service Plumber who wants strong earning potential, consistent opportunity, real support, and a company that takes both craftsmanship and customer experience seriously.

What Makes This Position Different

We don't expect our technicians to walk into every home and become high-pressure salespeople.

We want you to be great at what you were trained to do:

• Diagnose plumbing problems correctly
• Explain what you find clearly
• Educate homeowners
• Provide customers with appropriate options
• Complete professional repairs
• Identify other legitimate plumbing concerns
• Build trust with every customer

For larger projects and opportunities, you'll have direct support from our leadership and phone-closing team.

You aren't expected to do everything alone.

We hire great plumbers and help them become great communicators. We don't hire salespeople and try to turn them into plumbers.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll handle residential service and repair calls involving:

• Water heaters and tankless systems
• Toilets, faucets, disposals, and fixtures
• Water leaks and slab leaks
• Drain and sewer problems
• Water pressure issues
• Water quality concerns
• Gas plumbing
• Water and sewer lines
• Whole-home plumbing evaluations
• Larger residential repair opportunities

Your responsibility is to diagnose the problem, communicate your findings clearly, provide the customer with solutions, and deliver a professional finished product.

Who We're Looking For

Our ideal technician:

• Holds an active Texas plumbing license
• Has residential service plumbing experience
• Is confident diagnosing plumbing systems
• Communicates professionally with homeowners
• Takes pride in clean, professional workmanship
• Is comfortable presenting customers with multiple solutions
• Is dependable and takes ownership of their performance
• Is coachable and wants to continue improving
• Works well within a team
• Keeps their truck, tools, and workspace organized
• Understands that customer experience matters just as much as technical ability

A clean driving record is required.

You receive a dependable hourly base plus additional performance compensation.

No Traditional On-Call Schedule

We are not an overnight or traditional after-hours plumbing company.

Our normal service schedule is during the business day.

Technicians may occasionally need to finish an existing call later in the day when reasonable, but nights and rotating on-call shifts are not our business model.

• Base Pay: $30–$35/hour based on experience
• Plus performance-based compensation
• Expected Annual Earnings: $85,000–$125,000+
• This is not a commission-only position. We believe great technicians should have a dependable base income with additional upside tied to performance, production, and taking great care of customers.

You aren't expected to know everything on day one.

You are expected to want to keep getting better.
