Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join a busy HR and Organisational Development team.
In this role, you will provide timely and professional HR advice and support to managers and HR Business Partners across a wide range of people-related matters. You will support employee relations casework, workforce planning, organisational development, policy implementation, and initiatives designed to improve employee engagement and performance.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing professional HR advice and guidance to managers on employment matters and HR policies.

Supporting employee relations cases, workplace conflict, and dispute resolution.

Advising on workforce structures, organisational change, and working practices.

Supporting the development and implementation of effective HR policies and procedures.

Contributing to workforce planning and training and development initiatives.

Working collaboratively with managers, HR colleagues, and Trade Union representatives.

Supporting HR and organisational development projects and continuous improvement activities.

Maintaining accurate records and providing HR data and insight to support effective decision-making.

Identifying HR risks and providing practical, business-focused solutions.
The successful candidate will have experience providing HR advice within a large or complex organisation, with a good understanding of employee relations, people management, workforce planning, and HR policy. CIPD membership or relevant professional development is desirable.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong IT literacy, and the ability to build effective relationships with managers and stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with Trade Unions and handling employee relations casework would be advantageous.
