The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment like hostlers, top loaders, and cranes to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks safely and efficiently.
• Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and readiness.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety procedures.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screening.
