Lumber Operator 4-12 Shift

This position is responsible for producing finished product of various types of plastic lumber, parts, and assemblies from raw and recycled materials.

Shift Schedule: 4:00pm - Midnight

Duties & Responsibilities

• Fast, efficient set-ups
• Operation of molded lumber lines and CNC
• Handling molds, filling and emptying
• Handling and making plastic lumber as assemblies
• Monitoring the machine at all times assuring quality product is produced
• Accurately measure, document, and chart the activity of the line
• Read and follow drawings and production orders
• Use power tools (wood working tools) to make and finish parts and/or assemblies
• Responsible for safe operation of the line
• Assist in maintenance of machine repair
• Help maintain the cleanliness of the workstation to meet our Food Safety Policy
• Assist in R&D
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to read and write English
• Able to follow strict product specifications
• Computer experience necessary
• Mechanical knowledge in working with equipment and carpentry tools helpful
• Read drawings to make parts and assemblies
• Ability to do accurate, detailed paperwork
• Good math skills are necessary
• Committed to producing a quality product and safety conscious
• Work as a team member

The physical requirements necessary to perform this job are as follows:

• Works in a production environment
• Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms with upper and lower body mobility
• Frequently stand, stoop, and bend
• Frequently lift or move products up to 70 pounds
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
• Adaptable to various job duties

Starting wage: $25.13/Hour
