Business Analyst – Job Description

Experience: 10+ Years
Job Type:  W2 Contract
Location: Plano, TX

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Business Analysis and requirement gathering.

  • Excellent knowledge of BRD, FRD, and business documentation.

  • Experience in stakeholder management and client communication.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Excel.

  • Ability to prepare user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.

  • Knowledge of gap analysis and business process improvement.

  • Experience in UAT coordination and functional testing.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements.

  • Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and other documentation.

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Identify business gaps and recommend solutions.

  • Support development, testing, and UAT activities.

  • Track project progress and communicate updates.

  • Ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

  • MBA is preferred.

Certifications

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).

  • IIBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA).

  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA).

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) — preferred.
