Software Engineer

Allstate is seeking a Software Engineer to build secure, scalable solutions that power innovative insurance and financial products. You'll design, develop, and enhance cloud-based applications that support millions of customers, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. Responsibilities include building APIs, integrating data and services, writing clean, well-tested code, and improving performance and reliability. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software for insurance and financial products
• Collaborate with product, data, and design teams to deliver customer-focused digital solutions
• Write clean, tested, and well-documented code following best practices and Allstate standards
• Integrate with internal and third-party APIs and services within cloud-native environments
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure high-quality delivery
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and reliability in production
• Implement security, privacy, and compliance standards relevant to financial and insurance data
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering tools, pipelines, and development practices
