The Role

• Collaborate closely with the bid team to understand requirements and translate them into achievable estimates for operations and supply chain.
• Develop high-impact, cost-effective estimates that contribute to winning proposals.
• Support customer and supplier fact-finding activities related to cost estimates.
• Influence key bid decisions by providing accurate and well-supported cost projections.
• Analyze build and support activity durations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and refined production cost tracking.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in creating detailed Manufacturing Build Instructions, SOPs, and tooling/fixturing designs.
• Understanding of transitioning designs from development to full-scale manufacturing, with a focus on Design for Manufacture (DFM).
• Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) to manage complex Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Ability to calculate resourcing profiles and ensure the correct skill mix is identified.
• Possess a qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
