Devops Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Experience with AWS Services (EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53, IAM, ECS, VPC, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS), Microservice Development and Support (Java, Springboot), Scripting in one or more of these languages (Shell/Bash, Python, Groovy), Infrastructure As Code (Terraform, Ansible), Docker and Containerization
• Experience with Version Control (Github, Bitbucket)
• Strong experience in Engineering solution by adopting Istio service mesh to orchestrate E2E service integrations for Kubernetes, OpenShift and Virtual Machine-based workloads
• Strong understanding on federated Istio, AppMesh, LinkerD, AspenMesh Or Consul service mesh implementations
• Extensive Knowledge with hands on experience in building applications on AWS public cloud with cloud native design, microservice patterns and containerization
• Experience supporting infrastructure for large multiservice applications
• Ability to automation scripting using could formation templates, terraforms, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
• Strong Groovy DSL experience in building multi stage CI/CD pipeline via Jenkins
• Exposure to OAuth based implementation patterns using PING
• Experience in orchestrating Kubernetes/OpenShift based deployments
• Expertise in Log aggregation tools like Elastic(ELK), Splunk or DataDog
• Knowledge and experience in designing for and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS). This can range from custom code on IaaS/PaaS to SaaS solution integrations.
• Experince in using Modern Tools like Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git
• Experienced in Kafka, AMQ or similar streaming tools
• Experienced in AWS(K8, AMQ, Kafka streams)
• Experience in Container tools like EKS, Docker, Openshift
• Knowledge or working experience on database technologies like Oracle, DB2, Mongo DB, NoSQL DBs, PostgreSQL
