Team Leader - Children's Homes | Heighington Village, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £39,680 - £46,944

The Role

  • Provide day-to-day care for young people, ensuring their well-being and creating positive experiences.
  • Support and guide the staff team, ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency.
  • Deputise for Registered and Deputy Managers, stepping up to cover responsibilities as needed.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with young people, understanding and responding to their individual needs.
  • Inspire and motivate colleagues through compassionate and resilient leadership.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and highly supportive living environment.

What You'll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
  • Demonstrated honesty, empathy, and a genuine care for young people.
  • Resilience to effectively manage challenging situations.
  • A positive, "can-do" attitude and a collaborative team-player mindset.
  • Openness to diversity and a commitment to inclusion.
