Hardware Team Leader | Aylesford, United Kingdom | On-site | Circa £60,000 per annum

The Role

  • Provide managerial and technical leadership to an electronics design team supporting production programs.
  • Manage work packages, including cost, schedule, risk, and opportunities.
  • Ensure the engineering team effectively supports production program demands.
  • Provide technical governance and ensure adherence to company processes.
  • Lead cost and performance trade-offs for hardware solutions.

What You'll Need

  • Demonstrated high performance and achievement in leadership and management of engineering teams through a full product development lifecycle.
  • Proven experience in cost and planning management, optimizing solutions, and minimizing impacts from dependencies.
  • Experience in identifying improvements to working practices and team skill development, focusing on failure reduction.
  • Experience with safety-critical systems and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) is desirable.
  • Experience with work-package management tools (e.g., MSP, JIRA) is desirable.
