Job Location: Burlingame, CA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $25.00hr - $30.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Willingness to work on-site daily.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional interactions.
• Experience with test tools used for debugging or investigation, such as Visual Studio, gdb, Android Studio, or adb.
• Competency with command line tools.
• Experience with commonly used bug-tracking software such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Mantis.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on feature bring-up with engineers.
• Handle ad-hoc requests from other teams.
• Develop test strategies and test plans for new products and features.
• Author test cases and create or assign test runs.
• Perform bug review, de-duplication, and triage.
• Provide test status reporting.
• Maintain test cases by adding new cases to established areas and editing existing cases for accuracy.
• Review bug reports submitted by other team members.
• Perform targeted ad-hoc testing of undocumented areas.
• Execute test cases.
• Investigate and report software and hardware bugs.
• Verify bug fixes.
• Create clear and concise reports.
• Review logs to derive the root cause of bugs.
