Who We Are

Agile Retail works with some of the most exciting brands in retail, helping them build exceptional stores, teams and customer experiences.

We are looking for a Floor Manager to take ownership of the customer experience and day-to-day performance of a busy, high-volume retail floor.

This is a role for someone who loves being at the heart of the action - leading from the front, coaching in the moment and creating the energy that drives both the team and the customer experience.

The Floor Manager Role

As Floor Manager, you’ll be highly visible throughout the trading day, leading the team, managing deployment and making sure every customer receives a consistently brilliant experience.

You’ll understand what is happening across the floor, where the opportunities are and what the team needs to do next.

What the Floor Manager Will Be Doing

  • Leading the shop floor during busy trading periods

  • Motivating and energising the team throughout the day

  • Deploying people effectively according to customer demand and business priorities

  • Coaching team members in the moment to improve performance and customer experience

  • Driving sales, conversion and other key retail KPIs

  • Ensuring customers receive an engaging, efficient and consistent experience

  • Maintaining strong visual and presentation standards

  • Ensuring product is available, replenished and easy for customers to shop

  • Communicating priorities clearly through team briefs and regular floor updates

  • Identifying issues quickly and taking ownership of resolving them

  • Supporting opening, closing and other daily store routines

  • Working closely with the wider management and operations teams

About the Floor Manager

You’ll be a confident floor leader who gets energy from people and fast-paced retail.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Previous retail management or supervisory experience

  • Experience working within a busy, high-volume environment

  • Strong communication and people skills

  • Confidence leading and directing a large team

  • A strong understanding of customer experience and commercial performance

  • The ability to remain organised and composed when priorities change

  • Natural energy and a visible leadership style

  • Strong attention to detail and high standards

  • Flexibility to work across weekdays, evenings and weekends
