Purpose

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with Product, Technology and business stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements and support the delivery of initiatives that create value for Banjo customers and the business.

You will play an important role in translating business needs into actionable outcomes, facilitating collaboration, supporting discovery activities and ensuring solutions meet customer, business and operational requirements.

Discovery & Analysis

• Participate in discovery activities to understand business problems, opportunities and customer needs.
• Elicit, analyse, validate and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support the evaluation of solution options and contribute recommendations that balance customer value, business outcomes, technical feasibility and operational impact.
• Analyse current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement through root cause analysis, process mapping and stakeholder engagement.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder discussions to gather insights and document business needs.
• Support the definition of future-state processes, business rules and operational requirements.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and other delivery artefacts.
• Identify and support the management of risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams in backlog refinement, sprint planning and solution discussions.
• Support the delivery of solutions that align with agreed business objectives and customer outcomes.
• Assist with testing, implementation and change readiness activities as required.

Stakeholder Management

• Build effective working relationships across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk and other business functions.
• Communicate requirements, impacts and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate discussions and workshops to support stakeholder alignment and shared understanding.
• Ask thoughtful questions and challenge assumptions to clarify requirements and improve outcomes.
• Act as a liaison between business and delivery teams, ensuring requirements are understood and outcomes are aligned.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, systems and customer experiences.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices, standards and ways of working.
• Support data-driven decision-making through analysis, reporting and insights.
