Insurance Business Analyst

Role: Insurance Business Analyst (US Benefits)
Work Mode: Remote
Experience: 12+ years preferred
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with US Insurance / Benefits Administration domain expertise to gather requirements, define functional specifications, and coordinate with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
·         Lead requirements gathering and solution design for US benefits administration, including health and welfare plans, open enrollment, life events, eligibility rules, and carrier integrations.
·         Translate regulatory requirements (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA) into functional specifications, user stories, and configuration requirements.
·         Coordinate with clients, onshore stakeholders, offshore delivery teams, QA, and configuration teams.
·         Manage priorities, scope, UAT feedback, and stakeholder communication.
·         Mentor Business Analysts, review deliverables, and drive process improvements.
Required Skills:
·         Strong experience in US Benefits Administration or US Health Insurance / Payer domain.
·         Knowledge of eligibility, enrollment workflows, plan structures, claims basics, and HIPAA compliance.
·         Familiarity with 834 EDI files and carrier integrations.
·         Strong requirements documentation, stakeholder management, and UAT skills.
·         Experience with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA regulations.
